Corporate Partners

At the University of Tennessee, we believe that the best MBA program is an applied MBA program. The more interaction there is between industry partners, our students, and our faculty, the more we will all benefit. We want relationships with our corporate partners to be broad and deep. Here are some of the many ways that you can think about partnering with the UT MBA program.

Program Overview
Our new 17-month MBA program is focused on the skills required for Integrated Value Chain Management. This innovative program was developed with significant feedback from industry representatives, and the cutting edge curriculum is ripe with opportunities for interaction from industry representatives. Recruiting
Many companies want to recruit our MBA students for summer internships and/or full-time positions. Our Career Services staff and infrastructure is designed to make this process easy, whether it is reviewing our student profiles, posting job opportunities, teleconferencing, or setting up on-campus interviews. More

Executive Education
At UT, we believe that education is a life-long experience. The dynamic nature of the business world means that managers will continually need to retool and upgrade their skills. Find out more about our nationally recognized executive education programs. More

Research/Project Partnering
Forecasting/demand planning, lean production, customer value determination, and supply chain management are a few of the areas where UT has nationally recognized faculty expertise. In addition to working with faculty, some company projects have been adapted to the classroom environment, providing our students with real world applications of the concepts they are learning in class. Contact the program Dean, Sarah Gardial (sgardial@utk.edu) to inquire about these opportunities.

Community Building
Giving back to the community is an ethic that we encourage while our students are on campus. Our MBAs often work with non-profit organizations to the benefit of both the organization and the larger community, from one-day to semester-long projects. Contact the program Dean, Sarah Gardial (sgardial@utk.edu) to learn more about these opportunities.
