What are the placement statistics for the class of 2001?

How many companies come on UT campus per school year interviewing?
A total of 421 companies/organizations recruited on-campus 2000-2001 for undergrads and graduate students for full-time and internship positions.

When should I start looking for an internship?
At the beginning of your first year.  Many competitive companies are now recruiting earlier in the fall in order to capture the best students before they have taken another position.  It never hurts to start early, but do not be disillusioned if you do not have a position by Christmas; the majority of students do not.  Start early and keep up your search until you find a company that is a good fit.

When should I start looking for a full time position?
Every year, a number students leave their internships with a full time job offer.  Even so, many of these students opt to continue looking at other options before they accept the offer.  Again, some companies will be on campus early so start your search early.  There will also be companies that do not interview for interns that are options for you to consider now.  Just make sure to start earlier in order to have the most options to consider.

How is the UT MBA Career Services office staffed?  Who should I contact?
