The UT MBA marketing club has agreed to help Cricket, a local wireless telephone service provider, learn more about the campus market. Mark Goodner, General Manager in Knoxville met with the Marketing Club to discuss an upcoming survey he hopes will capture information about student cellular phone users. Goodner, a 2000 graduate of UT's MBA program, sees this venture as an opportunity to provide real-world experience to current students. Students will write and distribute the survey and analyze the results as a part of the project. Goodner says he hopes the Marketing Club will also be available to help with future projects. Cricket entered the Knoxville market in October of 2000. |
