Core II (Late-August through December)
After the third week of August, the rest of fall semester is called Core II - BA512. Core II is ONE class worth 15 credit hours. This single class is a series of sequenced modules covering topics such as accounting, statistics, finance, customer relationship management (CRM), demand-planning, micro economics, global business, leadership, business communication, etc. These modules help you develop the skill sets and lay the foundation needed throughout the program. They are designed to deliver “what every global manager needs to know” about successfully managing a business in a global environment and are integrated to help you better understand the interrelationships between the different functionalities of a business organization. As an effective leader, you need to understand the importance of integrated business functions both within a company and across the industry.
